RDC Opened Up The Lab To The Community

At Riverside Dental Ceramics, we pride ourselves on helping dentists advance toward their goals and making the dental lab process more efficient. We recognized that many of our dentists had never seen our lab and wanted to know a bit more about how their cases are handled.

On August 3, our lab hosted an open house to connect and showcase how we can support local dentists.

At the event, we had a full evening of hors-d’oeuvres and drinks along with networking and prize drawings. Dentists were able to tour the lab and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into our lab process.

It was a great learning experience for our lab, speaking with all the dentists and being able to hear any ways that we could further connect to both long-time and prospective customers alike. There are a lot of needs that are not fulfilled by most labs, and we hope with our extensive offerings as an entry point, dentists will learn the value that our lab brings.

Many of the dentists that we spoke to did not know the totality of our offerings, though. This is something that we only learned by throwing this event. We wanted something personal, not by sending an assortment of flyers and surveys, but by meeting with the community to chat about what we provide and how we can make the dentists’ experiences better in the long run.

“We wanted to give our dentists a platform to voice how we can better support them and give back to the greater dental community.”

In this course, dentists learned about how to improve finishing, polishing and cementing techniques to maximize success with monolithic zirconia crowns.

We found these courses helpful for dentists because they fulfill part of their yearly CE requirements while also providing beneficial information that can be utilized in their practice.

Dentists walk away with practical knowledge that will positively affect restoration accuracy and finalization. These skills, in combination with the new polishing kit offered at RDC, create the path to providing patients with a brilliant, esthetic smile.

And that is the ultimate goal: presenting the necessary tools to help dentists create restored smiles. We want to make it easier for dentists to provide this for their patients and through our extensive offerings, they can. We strive for transparency about our offerings and provide crucial educational opportunities. Our team aims to provide a whole new level of support to our dentists through our future events that showcase our wonderful community.
