Outside of the Riverside Dental Ceramics lab, executive director from Tri-County Dental Society Deborah Munoz and Neobiotech branch manager Dami Kang gathered to celebrate the workshop’s success.
Our team at RDC had the pleasure of collaborating with Tri-County Dental Society and Neobiotech to host an Implant Study Club workshop. We collectively aimed to provide dental professionals and students with a comprehensive event, geared toward highlighting modern implant techniques and technologies. This being our first educational event, we were thrilled to provide an in-depth examination of the latest implant techniques to help promote healing and optimal implant placement.

Learning Through Practice

The day revolved around a technical workshop by Dr. Robert Kim covering topics such as implant indications, restoring existing implants, techniques for adequate healing, proper placement and bone grafting.
Each dentist was given an implant kit provided by Neobiotech to facilitate a greater understanding of the new advanced implant techniques through hands-on learning.
The implant kit included everything the dentists need such as a practice model and bur kits.

This event was the perfect environment for dentists to interact and learn ways to revitalize their patients’ smiles. A total of 28 dentists participated in the class, the majority being dentists who had never worked with RDC prior to this event.

A Behind the Scenes Glimpse Into RDC

During the event, attendees were also given a tour of the lab with a focus on the implant department. Justin Varieur, RDC’s dental production manager, described the various stages of the implant production process such as the milling process, the milling blocks used, and abutment creation. We take pride in providing our dentists with transparency about how our products are made while offering the necessary education to help them deliver beautiful smiles.

The Greatest Way to Connect

At the event, dentists were able to connect over the complimentary lunch.

Overall, this study club was a complete success. Not only were we able to connect with a wide variety of dentists, but we were also able to create lasting memories and give value back to the dental community.
Dr. Conrad Lucero found out about RDC through this event and requested a set of RDC ties so he could wear them during our next event.

We’d like to thank Tri-County Dental Society and Neobiotech for partnering with us for this event! We are proud to have hosted this valuable workshop and look forward to providing more educational opportunities for dental professionals and students in the future.
